  GFS (Gillan Financial Services) - Fees


Unlike many of our competitors, we believe in giving you some indication of our likely fees, so that you can plan and budget accordingly.


Main Schedule of FEES


Small Non-VAT, Non-Ltd business client whom we see 3-4 times per year, typical fee:- £150 - £350*

Small VAT Registered business (Non-limited), with a turnover under £250,000 pa, typical fee:- £350 - £750*

Larger businesses (Including Ltd Company), where the turnover exceeds £250,000 pa, typical fee:- £750 - £1000*


Other services & Fees for same:


Corporation Tax Return from £95 per annum (this includes lodging return with HMRC & Companies House) VAT submissions from £95 per quarter (includes lodging return with HMRC each quarter)

Personal Tax Returns from £95 per annum (personal tax returns or Director)

Payroll Run from £25 per month (assuming less than 5 employees) 



We also offer Book-Keeping for SME’s and Sole Proprietors saving you additional staff costs, thus letting you focus on growing your business whilst we do the admin. Fees start at £50 per data run. You don’t need to use our accounts service for this, as we offer this as a stand alone service.



*All the above fees exclude VAT at the prevailing rates

Other business types, we will negotiate a price with you, depending on your particular requirements and business needs. This price will also be communicated to you in writing. This fee will be broadly in line with the above charges.


We will also help you with VAT submissions and the preparation of VAT accounts which will be included in the price.



We typically save our clients many times the cost of our Fees.


Any price we quote you, will include a minimum of three visits (depending on the size of your business), and the preparation and submission of your Annual Accounts online to HMRC. It will also include advice on VAT and Tax planning, so that you benefit financially from any buying decisions you need to make.


Important note with regards to Fees


Our fees will also depend not only upon the time spent on your affairs, but also on the level of skill and responsibility and the importance and value of the advice that we provide, as well as the level of risk involved.


If we provide you with an estimate of our fees for any specific  work, then the estimate will not be contractually binding unless we explicitly state that will be the case.


Where requested, we may indicate a fixed fee for the provision of specific services or an indicative range of fees for a particular assignment.  It is not our practice to identify fixed fees for more than a year ahead, as such fee quotes need to be reviewed in the light of events out with our control.  If it becomes apparent to us, due to unforeseen circumstances, that a fee quote is inadequate, we reserve the right to notify you of a revised figure or range and to seek your agreement thereto.



We have a full list of fees for smaller one-off services on request e.g. Help with completing Self Assessment, Tax Credit or other forms and legal/lawful paperwork.


All charges will be fully explained to you and these will also be included in any formal Letter of Engagement from us.
